We want our students to be well-informed and interested in current affairs, but we also know many young people either don't follow the news or rely on social media sites that provide highly selective if not wholly misleading information. This is why we have our weekly Friday Debates, but also why we provide every student with a free digital news site appropriate for their age, known as First News.
First News has a 3-minute news bulletin (FNTV), competitions, articles and a lot more besides. If your child would like to receive their own paper copy of First News, they can collect a subscription form from Mrs Scott in the Library.
