The arts are not a luxury at Casterton, and why would they be? Britain is an arts superpower and creativity is critical to many of our most successful industries. They are also a joy and part of what makes us human, because we are born to express our creativity and, for so many young people, the arts are an important part of their lives. 

We have a flourishing expressive arts scene with bands, choirs, Rock School, instrumental and singing lessons, Art Club, Drama Club, LAMDA (acting) lessons, musicals, galleries, productions, concerts. Casterton's Got Talent, theatre visits and so much more. 

Our longer school week allows us to make time for the arts and unleash the creativity of our students. Several of our students have progressed to professional careers in the arts, and we are proud of the high standard of our productions and public performances. If your child enjoys the arts, they will enjoy coming to Casterton.
