Broadening horizons is the name we give to our programme of trips and visits.
We believe in broadening the horizons of our young people and providing them with the cultural capital to thrive and succeed. We want to inspire them, create lasting memories and let them have joyous experiences. This is why there are so many trips and visits on offer at Casterton, including over 20 in Year 7 alone, and there is something for everyone.
Your child can go skiing, canoeing, camping, sailing, climbing and exploring with us. They can travel internationally, including to Italy, Belgium, France, Iceland and Germany, and enjoy a rich variety of cultural activities, including theatres, museums, art galleries, historic houses and battlefields. They can be entertained at Harry Potter World, thrilled at Alton Towers, intrigued at a Mock Trial, fascinated at Bletchley Park, challenged walking over the top of the O2 centre, and inspired by debating in the Houses of Parliament.
All of which can then be showcased in their Rising Stars Portfolio.
Trips and visits are a big part of what we do at Casterton, so your child will have a huge variety of opportunities to broaden their horizons.
