Prep
Prep is our name for homework. Your child will be set weekly prep, but we manage it carefully so they are not overwhelmed. Our approach is based on the latest educational research and our aim is to help your child develop the ability to learn for themselves. If they need it, we also offer after-school prep clubs.
Parents can find the prep tasks for their child on our EduLink App, which is made available on admission. These are updated in real time by teachers. In this way, you avoid awkward conversations with your child about whether they have homework and instead support them in the best way possible. We have a consistent approach to teaching study skills so that students learn how to study effectively in all of their subjects. At GCSE, we provide students with a bespoke revision support programme to guide them through the process of preparing for the exams.
